    I Believe For 2005

For the next year I believe that God is going to pour out His favor upon those who have stood firm in their faith for the promises of God - those who have not wavered in their belief that God is who He says He is!  Those who have believed that God is for them and not against them - those who have believed God for His goodness.

I believe it will be a year of visions and dreams.  I believe it will be a year of birthing new visions to those who are diligently seeking God's will and favor for their lives.  I also believe it is a year to begin to unlock our imaginations - to use our spiritual creativity to unlock the treasures of God within us.

I believe that the next year holds the promise of the release of provision - a season of seeing the fruit of our labor.  I believe that God will continue to weave His net of believers and to begin to tie the knots that will hold it together.  As the net is tied, it will begin to harvest the areas over which it has been cast.  I believe that this year will be a year for relationship building.

I believe that the Holy Spirit will come in power - a great outpouring of the Spirit - and that God will manifest the gifts like they have not been manifested before.  I believe that there will be signs and wonders throughout the earth and that God will begin to work in new ways through His people.

I also believe that there will be a defining of lines between good and evil.  More and more of God's people will have to choose between God's way or the enemy's way.  I believe that there will be defining moments - those who are on the fence will be making decisions and others will be confronted with their sin - particularly those in leadership.  There will be a call to purity and holiness, for without it we will not see God's promises.  We will have to win the battle of our minds - to have our thoughts focused on the things of God, to overcome self-will with God's will.  It will be a year when believers begin to understand the revelation of selflessness and the powerful effects of this Godly principle.  I believe it will also be a year for understanding the principles of integrity, honor, respect, and consideration of others, and living a life that is above reproach - a season of recognizing God's sovereignty and the fear of the Lord.

I believe it will be a year of spiritual economics - of prospering in the Spirit, expansion of territories, and the shift from the physical desires to the necessity of the spiritual.  I see a great awakening of many whose eyes will be opened to see their need for foundational principles and truths.  In short, I see this year as a year of awakening for believers in Christ into their purpose and destiny for the next season.

For me, I believe it is the year of Awakening!
